First, They should make a lot of friends. It is important to make some close friends, but it is also important to make many friends to be able to talk with. In university, teachers don't always inform us about what we have to do. Sometimes, other people know important information that I don't know. If we have many friends, we can get and exchange a lot of information. Moreover, we can enjoy talking with friends who come from various places. I think friends are very important to enjoy our university life. In early time, they should speak to many people actively.
Second, they should enjoy playing with your friends. I think I didn't play with my friends in Kobe University last year. I have some regret about that. When I was a high school student, I imagine that college students enjoy themselves with their friends everyday. First year students should behave actively. It is also nice to meet old friends.
My first year passed fast. I have a lot of things I had better did. Therefore, first year students should do what they would like to do. Needless to say, they should study hard.
